Tanmay Bakshi is currently 16 years old and he is an AI programmer, IBM Cloud Advisor and YouTuber. Tanmay’s father Puneet Bakshi is already a programmer, he started teaching Tanmay programming when Tanmay was only 5 years old. But teaching is not that difficult process when you compare learning with it or applying the skills. His father started teaching him programming when Tanmay was only 5 years old because once Tanmay asked him how this computer is working? What is the reason behind its working? And many more questions that showed his curiosity for it. Tanmay had a passion to learn about programming since his childhood. In that 1-2 years’ time span, at the age of 7, he created his own YouTube channel and started teaching programming on it. And from all over the world people started to question or to ask problem about programming to Tanmay. At the age of 9, he developed an app for iOS. Then at the age of 11, he identified a bug in IBM’s program, he took a screenshot of the bug and posted it on his Twitter handle, and the back-end team of IBM found that tweet. And the back-end team immediately made contact with Tanmay recognized the bug and fixed it. From here his journey started, he got momentum from this point, later he became a motivational speaker, speaker at Ted Talk and even a author. Tanmay is currently working on two of his projects. The first project is, he made an observation that in the hospital when doctors check the patient and then a report is made of the patient on his/her health, and it takes almost 15 minutes reading those reports of 2-3 pages (approx.) and 10 minutes listening to the observation of assistance then the doctor prescribes medicine for patients. This takes about 25 minutes for the doctor to prescribe a medicine, Tanmay wants that 25 minutes to be saved, so he wants to make an app that will summarize all the data in a very accurate form such that it would take 1-3 minutes to read it. His second project is making an intelligent machine that can scan human brain waves and takes the action according to the brain so that by sitting in one place you can control the machine just with your brain. Basically, he wants to develop a machine which will work on command, the command which would be in your brain or you would just think and the machine would act accordingly.
