Intro to world of cyber space and different OS's

Cyberspace is an environment where communication occurs over computer networks. Each computer has a unique IP address, IP stands for Internet Protocol. Through this IP address, basically,
computers communicate with each other.
This world of the internet can be divided into three layers, the surface web, the dark web, and the deep web. We are gonna start a series named CyberWorld in which we will cover all the layers of the internet, in upcoming blogs you will get all the required information about all the three webs but before it, it is important to know about the popularly used Operating Systems(OS’s).

1] Android

This OS is created by Google and Open Handset Alliance, designed mainly for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. It’s a modified version of the Linux kernel and other open-source software. Its initial release date is 23rd September 2008. This OS is written in computer languages like Java, C, C++, XML, Assembly Language, Python, Shell script, Go, Make, D. Also, this OS is most widely used in India.

2] Windows

This OS is created by Microsoft Corporation and is mainly used on Desktop or laptops. In the year 2000, Windows first mobile was launched as Pocket PC 2000 which ran on Pocket PC PDAs. Later in 2003, it was renamed ‘Windows Mobile’. As the newer smartphone OSs (iOS and Android) came into the industry of technology they got a great success which Windows Mobile could never equal and as a result faded rapidly. By February 2010, Microsoft announced Windows phone to replace Windows Mobile with a more modern take on the industry. Microsoft laid off the Microsoft Mobile staff in 2016, after having taken a write-off of $7.6 billion on the acquired Nokia hardware assets, while market share sunk to 1% that year. Microsoft began to prioritize software development and integrations with Android and iOS instead, and ceased active development of Windows 10 Mobile in 2017. The initial release date of this OS is 20 November 1985. This OS is written in languages like C++, Assembly language, JavaScript, Visual Basic, C.
3] Mac

This OS is created by Apple Inc. and it is basically designed for laptop or desktop devices. Macintosh's first OS called Classic Mac OS was introduced in 1984. macOS is originated from a company founded by Steve Jobs known as NeXT, after the departure of Steve Jobs from Apple in 1985.

4] iOS

iOS stands for iPhone operating system it is developed by Apple Inc. It is the 2nd most widely installed operating system in the world after Android. C, C++, Objective-C, Swift, Assembly language are the languages in which iOS is written.

5] Linux

Linux is most the popular OS used by hackers for hacking. Linux is a family of open-source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel developed and created by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distributionIt was first released on 17th September 1991. Linux is written in C and Assembly language. Linux is popular among hackers because it contains many tools that can be used for hacking.

After the series of CyberWorld a separate series based on Linux system will be launched.
